Marilyn Davis-Beverly, daughter of the late Samuel and Berta Davis was born on April 18, 1952, in Baltimore, Maryland. Marilyn departed this life suddenly on December 31, 2025. Marilyn affectionally called "Marlene", attended Baltimore City Public Schools. Marilyn entered the workforce in 1975 as a professional seamstress and cook. Marilyn worked for many years for Baltimore City Schools, St. Frances Catholic School, London Fog, and JoS. A Bank. In additional, Marilyn severed as a provider for her grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and many of her nephews for several decades. Marilyn loved God and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior at an early age and was a member of New David Baptist Church of Christ. Marilyn had a strong belief in the power of God and prayer. Marilyn would often tell people, "Pray about it" or "God will take care of it" Marilyn was truly the life of the party, full of laughter, quick wit, and a sense of humor that could light up any room. She loved her family deeply, especially her sons and her three grandchildren who was the joy of her heart and the light of her life. Marilyn showed her love through her presence, her honesty, and her ability to make everyone feel loved. She was always funny and unapologetically real, she spoke her truth with grace and heart, leaving behind countless smiles, unforgettable moments, and a legacy of love that will be cherished forever. Marilyn met and married Rodney Beverley and out of this union they had two sons, Decone (Hawk) and Rodney (Pig). Marilyn was proceeded in death by her two sons, Decone Davis (Adia) and Rodney Davis; two sisters, Bertilla Davis and Shelia Davis; three brothers, Samual Davis, Henry Davis, and Bernard Davis. Marilyn leaves to cherish her loving memory, husband Rodney Beverly, one Sandra Davis; three brothers, Kenneth Davis (Sharon), Warren Davis, and William Davis (Roxanne); Three loving grandchildren, Deshawn Davis (Tiara), Demetric Davis, and Demesha Davis; two sister Inlaws, Vickie Davis and Antionella Davis. One Adoptive Daughter, Vera Akinola. One Adoptive Granddaughter, Oluyinka Akinola. Eleven Great-Grandchildren, London, Dylan, Aaliyah, Demetric, DeAsia, Amiyah, Kimayah, Kameron, Nyara, Zaeem, and Kennedy. Six Nieces, Tonya Davis, Bertilla, Jessica, Ashley, Rokeisha, and Tonya Hill; Nine Nephews, Desean, Anthony, Joshua, Rico, Kevin, Darius, Bernard, Jamal, and Shakee.
