Marilyn Lou Denison, age 88, passed away peacefully December 21, 2025, at The Heritage of Overland Park.
Marilyn was a loving and devoted wife with a fiercely independent nature with quite an onery streak. She never wanted to be a bother to anyone but would be the first to help when she saw a person in need.
Marilyn graduated from Winfield High School where she met her future husband, William Denison. They wed in 1964 after Bill served four years in the navy. Bill passed away after 51 years of marriage in 2015. They enjoyed travel and being a part of charitable organizations.
Marilyn is survived by Bill’s cousins: Anne Jackson of Baldwin City, KS, John Denison of San Antonio, TX and Carol Choate of Tahlequah, OK.
