Born in Wilmington, DE, she was a lifelong resident of Mantua before moving to The Terraces at Parke Place in Sewell 8 years ago. In addition to being a devoted homemaker, she was a seamstress as well as a crossing guard for Mantua Township Public Schools.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 65 years, William Heston, her parents John and Olga Alfree and her sisters, Alda Lee and Luzetta Sloniewski.
She is survived by her loving sons, Alfree Heston (Chris) and Todd Heston (Debbie); her grandchildren, Andrew Heston (Kerri), Joanna Gorecke (Zachary), Matthew Heston (Kat), and Ryan Heston; and her great-grandchildren, Kora Heston, Paisley and Joshua Gorecke, and Chase and Andie Heston.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family 11:00am-12:00pm on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Mantua, NJ. Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm, followed by Interment at Eglington Cemetery, 320 Kings Highway Clarksboro, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the United Methodist Church of Mantua, 201 Mantua Blvd., Mantua, NJ 08051.
