Dear Mr. Hutton,
I was very sorry to hear about your wife's passing.
Whenever I saw her, she was always very sweet and at ease.
I remember the time you both brought your new baby daughter to school to show our 8th grade class. You were both beaming.
That was typical of you, as you were a teacher in the greatest sense and became a role model to your students at an important time in our development.
The moment said a lot about you both, and I'm sure was just one of many happy memories you shared.
My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

My dear brother, Gary, my heart aches for you in the loss of your precious Marilyn. The love you shared for each other was a beautiful example to all who know you! I know she is with our Jesus now and whole and healed and full of the greatest joy we all look forward to having for all of eternity! May that, and beautiful memories hold her close to your heart! You are in my prayers and those of Mel and Amy..... I had hoped to give you a big hug from them last night, but wasn't able to make it to the visitation and funeral. We love you and are asking our Lord to comfort and strengthen you and put His loving arms around you in the coming months as you grieve the loss of your beautiful Marilyn...She was an amazing woman of God who loved Him and others well, and made a beautiful difference in this world for Jesus! I am so sorry for the loss of your wife, mother and grandmother. Marilyn was a beautiful, kind woman who welcomed all of Mr. Hutton's students in her heart. I have fond memories of her and I know how deeply you will miss her. My thoughts, prayers and love are with you.

Dear Gary and family,
Our hearts and thoughts are with you, as we cannot be there today. However we are prayerful that our Great God of all comfort will surround you all in the days ahead.
Your family has been a big influence and example to us, and your love and hospitality to us when we were so young and beginning our marriage will never be forgotten. Marilyn's endearing warmth. And care will be missed...and we will be praying for you in her absence.
