Marilyn Kellison, 87, passed away peacefully at the Putnam County Care Center with her family by her side on Friday, October 17th, 2025. Marilyn was born in rural Graysville, MO on April 4th, 1938, the daughter of Noble and Eithel Hatfield. Marilyn enjoyed all her homemaking responsibilities including gardening, sewing, and canning, but her favorite was cooking, especially for her large family gatherings. Marilyn will be remembered by her incredible sense of humor and wit.
Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Roy and husband Joe of Lancaster, MO; son, Kenny Branscom and wife Theresa of Worthington, MO; daughter, Denise Hawk and husband Jeremy of Moravia, IA; and son, Brad Fowler of Livonia, MO. Marilyn's surviving grandchildren are Chris (Jenny) Fowler, Angela (Jason) Deahl, Loni (Yolanda) Fowler, Mike (Mickey) Zerr, Michelle (Feilix) Ortiz-Martinez, Robin Roy, Ryan (Ashley) Roy, Cassie (Ben) Bowen, Traci Branscom, Alexus Hawk, and Morgan Hawk. Surviving great grandchildren are Dharma, Jenessa, Julia, Jadon, John, Carlee, Bentlee, Matt, Brooke, Allison, Hannah, Kyra, Paige, Payton, George, Steven, Lily, Jace, Lorenzo, Adreana, Logan, Victor, Madisela, Alisa, Matthew, Rylie, and Ivan. Marilyn in also survived by a brother, Lonnie (Dorothy) Hatfield.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by a son, Brian Fowler, a great-great-grandson, William and 6 siblings, Bill Hatfield, Bob Hatfield, Shirley Kohler, Charlene Hines, Jerry Hatfield, and Darlene Mansheim.
Memorials in Marilyn's honor are suggested to the Family or to the Putnam County Care Center and may be entrusted to the Thomas Funeral Home, 709 S. 27th St, Unionville, MO 63565.
Marilyn's Memorial Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, October 25th, 2025, at 11:00am with her Visitation beginning one hour prior to the service at 10:00am.
