Marilyn Helen Martin, (nee Davidson), age 82, of Crestview Hills, KY, formally of Maineville, OH, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Monday, July 1, 2024. She was a teacher for 30 years, 21 of those were spent teaching at Lebanon Correctional Institution where she retired from. Marilyn was an avid family genealogy researcher. She was devoted to her family and the teaching of others trying to better themselves. Marilyn is survived by her loving children, Kathy (Scott) Rigney and David Martin; grandchildren, Mason and Adyson; nieces, Debra Davidson, Bonnie Davidson, and Eileen Serres. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Roy Martin, her parents, Mary Helen and Byron Cochonour Davidson and a brother, Byron Carson Davidson. Visitation will take place at Middendorf Funeral Home on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the Memorial Service begins at 1:00 PM. Interment will immediately follow at St. John Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice 483 S. Loop Drive, Edgewood, KY 41017.
