Mrs. Marilyn Joyce Norris

Mrs. Marilyn Joyce Norris, age 78, of Wellborn, Florida passed away Wednesday, Nov. 2, in Haven Hospice, Lake City, Florida. Mrs. Norris had resided in Wellborn, Florida all of her life. She was a self employed beautician in the Wellborn area for over 15 years. She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church of Suwannee County, Florida. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, gardening, making trips to Biloxi and being with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Larry Norris, her parents, Gus and Louise Law Connell, two sons, Patrick William Norris and Carroll Leon Norris, grandson, Travis Norris, four brothers, Lavern, Lamont, Donald and Gary Connell. She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Norris and Carola Redmond both of Wellborn, Florida; one son, William "Billy" (Janice) Norris of Wellborn, Florida; two sisters, Mary Ingram and Barbara Butler both of Wellborn, Florida; three grandchildren, Ronald Norris, Jimmy Redmond III, and Brittany Parker; two great-grandchildren, Hunter Parker and Mason Parker also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Norris will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, Nov. 5, in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Rev. Hugh Dampier officiating and assisted by Mr. Dwight Law. Interment will be in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery, Suwannee County, Florida. Visitation for family and friends will be from 10 to 11 A.M. Saturday (One hour before services) at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, 2659 S.W. Main Blvd., Lake City, Florida.
