Marilyn June (Muffeny) Redosh Marilyn June (Muffeny) Redosh, 92, passed away on October 11, 2025 in Mount Pleasant, SC surrounded by her two loving daughters.

She was born on June 2, 1933 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, the daughter of Francis Edward Muffeny and Marguerite Janet (Spradling) Muffeny.

Marilyn lived a long and full life marked by devotion to her family, friends and community, and a joyful appreciation for life's pleasures. Marilyn was raised in Martins Ferry, Ohio and attended Martins Ferry High School where she was the Head Majorette.

She met her husband Paul Redosh while she worked as a secretary at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Company, and they married on June 25, 1955. They were married for 55 years and together they raised their two daughters in St. Clairsville, Ohio in a family centered on faith, love and devotion. Faith was an important part of her life and she was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church for many years.

Marilyn touched many lives through her giving nature, friendships and work in the community. While her children were young, Marilyn worked in the home taking on community roles such as Girl Scout Leader, Welcome Wagon hostess, and volunteering with many philanthropic organizations. Known for her playful and funfilled nature, she reprised her role as a Head Majorette on the Martins Ferry gridiron during an alumni reunion in her 70's. She loved dancing, social events, the Wheeling Symphony, and Belmont Hills Country Club.

Later, she became a cancer outreach worker teaching women how to do breast cancer examinations. In her last position before retirement, Marilyn worked as the Office Administrator for the Belmont County Department of Development, helping to bring new businesses to the area. She was proud of the Ohio Valley and loved its people, its history and beauty.

Marilyn is survived by her daughters Elizabeth Ann Raies (JC), and Rebecca Suzanne Eisner (Craig), her four grandchildren (Ellen, Emily, George and Henry), and three great grandchildren (Nash, Grant and Kendall June).

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband Paul, and brother Frank A. Muffeny.

A celebration of her life will be held November 28, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Care Funeral Home, 204 West Main Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio where we will celebrate her life and spirit together with a light lunch to follow. To honor her joy for life, attendees are requested to wear bright colors and festive clothing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
