My sincere condolences to the family of our dear Marilyn. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.

Tommy and Cecilia. When Marilyn joined our Bible study group, she fitted in from the very first time. She brought such joy to our group. It was a great pleasure to see her joining in the songs and it was very clear that she loved her Lord and Savior. We will miss her.

Marilyn joined our breast cancer support circle in January of 2012 here in Barbados. She was loved by all who came to know her and she was one of the first always to offer help with our fundraising. She will be greatly missed.

Your heart soon will be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Marilyn was such a lively person always pleasant, friendly and sooo willing to help if she could. She is a trooper! She helped us out briefly part time when we had our store Barbadiana at Sky Mall, Barbados bringing that helpful cheery presence in our store
She brought light wherever she went. I can still hear her. She will be remembered fondly

I met my Auntie Marilyn when I was 17 years old, coming to Barbados for a long stay and to connect with all of my Bajan family. From the moment I met her, she was warm, kind, welcoming and made my sister Andrea and I feel like we'd come home.
Memories of Uncle Shirley yelling 'Stallings' around the house and her yelling 'What do you want, Reece!' right back.
Her thoughtful nature continued for 36 years. Always keeping in contact with a quick call to say hi, showing us that we were always in her thoughts.
Her love extended to our daughter and we are all thankful that we had the opportunity to see her last year, one last time.
We will miss you dearly, Marilyn.

What a wonderful forever legacy Marilyn leaves for us all through her beautiful family and network of friends. There are no better ways than to celebrate her life and remember her God-given spirit than to witness those she leaves on earth. Her love and kindness will live eternally. Marilyn was the first person I met joining American Woman's Club of Barbados. So welcoming, always with a dry sense of humor. Any project that came up she was always the first to say ''let's do this''. And many would follow. I will forever miss her ''ad libs'' during a meeting. She was a very giving person, and encouraged other to do the same. She will be forever in my thoughts and heart. Sydney Maynard.

Aunty Marilyn, you will always remain a shining light in our hearts. Your smile, your caring nature, your wonderful ability to reach out on everyone's birthday or other important life events. The way you playfully chided Uncle Shirley, your skill as a Bajan translator for my wife and the seemingly endless energy and patience you had with my children. The word unique has never more been so embodied.
We mourn the loss of our beloved Aunty Marilyn and extend our condolences to those she has left behind but we celebrate a wonderful life well lived.

I met Marilyn through the American Women's Club of Barbados. Marilyn was a solid member of our organization, and she had fun with everything we took part in, from Fundraising activities to AWC Social gatherings. My most cherished memories will include her willingness to help where needed and the times I'd visit her in her own and we would just chat about many things. Love and hugs to her USA Family and friends. A life truly well lived and loved..

I first met Marilyn in the mid 80's whilst visiting uncle Shirley in Barbados on vacation from the UK.
Marilyn would drop us here and there and take us out along with Uncle Shirley to different venues in Barbados, making sure we were having a good vacation.
I knew she was special from the moment I met her. And knew that uncle had found his sole mate.
She always treated me like her own niece. I looked forward to her frequent phone calls, to make sure we were all OK. She would always ask "how you doing?" We never lost contact, I'm missing hearing her voice already.
She was loved by all the Reece family in the UK, we are going to miss her very much.
Our deepest condolences go out to uncle Shirley, and immediate family.

Marilyn was first and foremost a God fearing woman. Extremely caring, kind and patient.

Her calm and loving character won the heart of Shurley, my uncle, along with all the Reece family.
So much so that she was fondly called "Reece" by my uncle instead of her actual name.

She fitted in with our family as if she'd always been there.

There's an enormous space in the hearts of the Reece family that only Marilyn could fill.

By God's grace if we're faithful we will see her once more, very soon when Jesus returns for His saints.

May God comfort all those who are mourning her loss.
