Marilyn Samples Obituary
Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Samples; parents Albert and Nellie Gladys Powell; sister Carolyn Haney and her niece Holly Wortham.
She is survived by her two sons David Samples and Joe Samples (Mirela); grandchildren Sara (Jacob) Stamper, Josiah Samples, Josh Samples (Angela); great grandchildren Ethan Samples, Emma, Audrey and Asher Sparks, Ethan Samples and many nieces and nephews' other family who will cherish her memory.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday December 23, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Jackson Funeral Home and Cremation, a funeral service will follow in the chapel with Pastor Joe Samples officiating.
Interment will take place on Friday December 26, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery located at 2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920

What a beautiful light Marilyn was. Although I met her after her memory started fading she was always the most pleasant, appreciative person I have ever met. She will be truly missed. I received such a blessing being around her. She truly exemplified a life for Jesus! I love u sweet Marilyn!
