Marilyn A. Wagnitz, age 76, passed away January 23, 2022.
Marilyn was the beloved wife of the late Richard "Dick" Wagnitz; loving mother of Dawn (Mike) Malenfant; devoted grandmother of Lauren and Evan Malenfant; dear sister of Deanna (Jack) Callewaert, the late Daniel (the late Joyce) Craddock, Timothy (MaryAnn) Craddock, Marie (Ron) Ralko, Joanne Craddock, Martin (Deanna) Craddock, Elizabeth (Dale) Woodmansee, Virginia Craddock, and Christopher (MaryAnn) Craddock; and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Marilyn was a manager at the Stage Deli for many years and had a second career as a tax preparer at H&R Block. Her passions in life included bowling, board games and puzzles, card games (Euchre), and dancing. She loved spending time with family and friends at her cottage up north, especially during beautiful, warm summer days. She was a fantastic, caring, and loving mom, grandma, and nanny.
Visitation Thursday, January 27, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Scripture Service with a Time of Sharing at David Wysocki Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren, Michigan. Instate Friday, January 28, from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, 730 S. Lafayette Ave., Royal Oak, Michigan. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, Michigan.
The family asks that any attendees to please wear masks to all of the services.
For those that cannot make it to the visitation or don't feel comfortable being at the funeral home, in person, the Scripture Service and Sharing Time will be live-streamed via the zoom app. Just go to the bottom of the obituary page in the Services Section and click the live-streaming button to attend.
Donations in Marilyn's name may be made to either the Paralyzed Veterans of America, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the American Cancer Society.
