Marilyn Wall

Marilyn Wall, 89, of Oak Harbor, Washington, passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday, February 4, 2026. She was born in Sedro-Woolley, Washington on an overcast but pleasant day March 6, 1936 to parents Morgie and Ella Ruth Wilson.

Marilyn spent most of her childhood in Sedro-Woolley and Clear Lake. She enjoyed traveling with her family, specifically in the carnival alongside her father, Morgie.

Shortly after graduating from Sedro-Wooley high school she married her first husband Dick DeYoung, and began to raise her family in Oak Harbor. Marilyn later married her second husband Donald Wall, and they remained together until his passing. She was a longtime member of Oak Harbor Lutheran Church, where her faith played a central role in her life. Marilyn enjoyed sewing, fashion, and jewelry, and she specially loved spending time with her grandchildren, who were her greatest joy.

She is preceded in death by Dick DeYoung, Donald Wall, and son Richard DeYoung. She is survived by daughters Rita Carter and Rhonda DuBois; along with her grandchildren Katie, Marcy, Jeremy, Julie, and Kate. Marilyn continues her legacy with many great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
