Mrs. Marilynn S. Cesaroni, age 84 of Ingleside, IL. passed away May 3rd 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. Marilynn was the beloved wife of the late James Cesaroni; proud mother of Michael (Denise) Obenauf, Patricia (Ken) Simmermon, James (Linda) Obenauf; cherished grandmother of Josh (Nina) Vandervest, Sarah Vandervest, Kate (Jesse) Cassiday, Jacklynn (Justin) Lenart; great grandmother of Vinita Vandervest; dear sister in-law of Sandy Baumgartner and Geri Baumgartner.
Marilynn was preceded in death by her parents John and Adeline Scheiden, brothers Wally, Rudy and Phillip Baumgartner and sister Jean Abbott.
Marilynn was born July 29,1939 in Chicago Il. Her family later moved to Lake Zurich where she graduated from Ela Vernon high school. She attended college for one year at Southern Illinois University. She spent her career in the banking industry where she worked mostly within the trust department. In May of 2000 she married James Cesaroni and they later moved to The Villages in Florida where she was an avid card maker and spent many hours with her friends making beautiful, unique cards that she shared with family and friends. She also enjoyed golfing, gardening, traveling and making new friends.
Marilynn deeply loved her family and Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a loving, gracious and caring woman who will be greatly missed by all of us.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 12:00 Noon until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 PM at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main St., Wauconda. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 8th Ave., 16th Floor, New York, NY, 10001, www.alzfdn.org.
