I WENT TO BASIC TRAINING WITH MARIO REYES AND ALSO WAS STATIONED IN FORT CARSON WITH HIM. i ONLY SPEAK VERY HIGHLY OF HIM BEST FRIEND A GUY COULD HAVE AND NICEST GUY EVER. I MISS HIM AND COULDNT BELIEVE THEY TOOK SOMEONE SO CLOSE TO ME AWAY FROM ME. I MISS REYES EVERYDAY. NOT A DAY GOES BY THAT I DONT FLASHBACK TO IRAQ 05-06 PROBABLY THE MOST SCARED IVE EVER BEEN IN MY LIFE BUT I HAD TO RISE AND BE BRAVE AT 18 BECAUSE PEOPLE AT HOME WERE DEPENDING ON US. I REALLY MISS YOU REYES.

I did not know Mario, but I am remembering
his service and sacrifice. He is my hero. !

It has been 3 years since Mario, Justin, Robert & our Son Brian Freeman gave the ultimate sacrifice. We are so sorry for your loss and just know our prayers are with your family and all those who loved Mario. They are true American Heroes.

There is nothing that I can say or do to take away the pain or bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer you and your family my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his/her selfless act of becoming a member of the armed forces, his/her willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him/her. Though tears can never bring him/her back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he/she made and our sorrow at his/her passing. I believe for every fallen HERO there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift we were given.

Your mission on earth is complete and you are now a member of GOD’s Heavenly armed forces. Stand down brave warrior and take your rightful place in Heaven with all the HEROES who have passed before.

I made a special promise to LE RON A. WILSON, a dear family friend who joined the Army with three other friends, one of whom is my son (Le Ron was killed in action on 07/06/07 at the age of 18) on the day he was laid to rest as I touched his coffin, that I would never forget him nor would I forget those that gave their lives for our country before him, with him and after him and so when I came across www.legacy.com, I thought what a great way to keep my promise to Le Ron, so I will continue to leave tributes in each guest book until the day there is no longer the need to leave these tributes to a FALLEN HERO.

REST IN PEACE, HERO, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!

I am Deeply saddened to learn of the loss of Pfc. Mario A. Reyes, one year ago today.
The price this young hero and his family have paid for this country and for freedom, WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.
May Mario rest safely in the Loving Care of God and may the Peace of the Lord continue to be with the Reyes family.
There will never be enough ways to humbly thank these Young Heroes for their Supreme Sacrifice, my 19 year young brother among them. KIA~Vietnam, 1967.

Roberto Carlos Baez (muerto en Iraq, octubre 3, 2005), queria servir a esta patria que nos ha brindado una mejor vida pero que tambien nos ha quitado, y sigue quitando, a nuestros tesoros...a nuestros hijos. Ellos querian avanzar y hacer una mejor vida para ellos y su familia. Ahora, con un futuro tronchado, solo el dolor y el recuerdo quedan. Que Dios los bendiga y los ayude con esta pena.

PFC Reyes was a Soldier in my husbands' Plt. 4th Plt has suffered so many losses but Heaven has gained so many Heroes! I know my husband SFC Phelps is waiting and welcoming PFC Reyes at Heavens Gates. My heart-felt prayers go out to his family.

I didn't know this young man, but I am so sad at his passing. God bless him and his family. He will have a special place in heaven with God. He will never be forgotten.

To the Reyes family, my prayers are with you. I have a son the same age in the Army. We can't stop being proud forever. Your son will always be a hero and always remembered.

My family will think of Mario, forever. Our son is currently serving with the 3rd. squadron in Iraq. He is more saddened with every fellow soldier that falls.

You are truly an American Hero.
