Mario Craft Obituary
Mario Craft, a proud U.S. Air Force veteran, passed away at the age of 52 on January 12th, 2024, with his family and friends by his side.
Mario was born July 12th, 1971 in Memphis, Tennessee. After graduating from Northside High School in 1990, Mario enlisted in the United States Air Force serving 20 years as a Munitions Systems Craftsman (I.Y.A.A.Y.A.S), retiring in 2012 as a technical sergeant.
Mario is survived by his wife of 30 years Marlea, their sons Shawn (Valdosta, GA) Jason and DeMarcus (Myrtle Beach, SC) daughter Lauryn (Utah), 5 grandchildren. His parents Henry Craft (Deborah), Rhonda Peppers, sisters Sheynah (Steven) Davis; Lashelle Craft, brother Taurus Lyons all of Memphis, TN, several aunts, uncles; brothers/sisters in law, nieces/nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased in death by his paternal grandparents, George and Quincella Craft, maternal grandparents Joseph and Willa Parker, mother and father in law Merrield and Ellen McClain. Uncle Joseph Parker, aunt Carmen Ayyad.
Arrangements will be announced at a later date.
The family would like to express our heart-felt thank you to the wonderful staff especially the nurses of S1 ICU at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
Although you are gone we will always carry your memory in our hearts...
