It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our beloved Father, Brother, Uncle, and Friend "Mario Antonio Gavin”, 43, of Columbus, Ohio, departed this earth on February 9th, 2024.
Born to parents Aaron Milton and Annie Gavin, on August 28th, 1980, in Columbus, Ohio. Mario attended Barrett Elementary School & Hiltonia Middle School. He was gifted with an infectious smile and laughter, turning ordinary moments into extraordinary ones…
Mario will be lovingly remembered and survived by his parents Aaron Milton & Annie Gavin, his children Frank & Maria Gavin, & Kaylana and Mario Gavin Jr., baby sister Shameka Gavin, and partner Lauren (Caeleb) as well as a host of grandchildren, cousins, nieces & nephews, and friends. Mario was predeceased by brothers Marvin Aaron & Larico Gavin, sister Latasha Gavin, and grandmother Daisy Lee Jones.
Mario was known for his love of playing basketball. He had tremendous love for football and going to games. He was a true Ohio State and Cleveland Browns Fan. He had a love for food, which he shared his great cooking skills by teaching his children. Mario loved being outside. He enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends. His loss will be felt deeply by his family, friends, and the community of Columbus, Ohio.
