My most sincere condolences to Judge Mario Ramirez“s family. I was in Mexico City on a pilgrimage to the Basilica of our Mother Mary our Virgencita de Guadalupe when I was notified of his passing. Prayers were said for his eternal rest and a candle was lit in petition for the Perpetual Light to shine upon Judge.
He was a true visionary and dedicated public servant. His Legacy to his community is without comparison.

I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Mario. He was a friend during college days at ND-SMC. I remember him as very kind and good- humored. I am not surprised that he devoted his life to helping others. Prayers for comfort, grace, and peace to all family and friends.
