Marion "Cleave" Malcolm, born on November 26, 1947, in Georgia, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2025, in his beloved home state. Cleave was a man of many passions and dedicated service, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A proud veteran, Cleave served his country honorably in the United States Army, exemplifying the values of courage and commitment. His military service shaped his character and instilled in him a deep respect for duty and sacrifice.
Outside of his military endeavors, Cleave was an outdoorsman at heart. He had a profound love for nature, often spending his weekends hunting in the serene forests of Georgia. His adventurous spirit didn't stop there; Cleave was also an avid runner who participated in several marathons, demonstrating his dedication to health and fitness. His passion for running was not merely about competition but a way to connect with his surroundings and enjoy the beauty of the world around him.
His warmth and generosity will be remembered fondly by his family. He is survived by a loving niece, Faith Foell (Nelson); sister-in-laws, Ernestine Malcolm and Sally Malcolm; as well as a great niece and great nephew, Erin Foell and John Reid Foell. He also leaves behind several cousins, all of whom cherished his presence and will miss him deeply.

While his loss is profoundly felt, his memory endures in the hearts of those he loved and who loved him in return. Cleave legacy of service, love for the outdoors, and commitment to his passions will continue to inspire all who remember him.
