Marion Ray Day

BELTON- Marion Ray Day died on July 7, 2018 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mr. Day was born May 22, 1935. He was a farmer and of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Day's hobbies included singing and playing golf, as well as being an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orbie and Alma Ramsey Day; brothers, Arthur Eaner Day, Billy W. Day; sister, Margaret Ann Walker. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Betty Sue Day; children, Patricia (Mike) Jones, Michael Ray (Lisa) Day, Shirley Day, James Marion (Sheryl) Day; grandchildren, Jessica (Matt) Croley, Laura Jones, Sylvia (Travis) Johnson, Morgan (Brad) Damron, Erin (Jonathan) Hopper, Sarah (Braven) Griffin, Ashley Day, Matthew Day; great-grandchildren, Eli and Kingston Croley, Dayleigh and Lia Damron, Jon Michael and June Hopper; brothers, Roy (Gloria) Day, Jerry (Hannah) Day; sisters, Barbara Kinchelow, Ruth (Darrell) Stallings. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Day officiating. Burial will be in Mud River Union Cemetery in Belton. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 5:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Mud River Union Cemetery Fund.
