DOMINSKI, Marion, Eugene, December 21, 1934 - October 6, 2024, Age 89. The beloved husband of the late Patricia A. Dominski, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2024. Born on Milwaukee Avenue in Detroit on December 21, 1934, to the late Konstanty and Mary Dominski, and raised in Hamtramck, Marion was a loving father to Daniel (Ann) Dominski, John (Kathleen) Dominski, Paul (Reba) Dominski, and the late Steven and James (Lori) Dominski. He was a proud grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Marion worked in the automotive industry for General Motors for 44 years as a Contact Engineer and Metal Model Maker. His incredible skill with his hands extended beyond his profession, as he was also an award-winning decoy carver. Marion served his country with pride in the National Guard.
Known for his warmth, friendly nature and sense of humor, Marion brought joy to those around him. From singing, dancing, and having fun, he made everyone laugh, Above all, he was a consummate family man who held his family in the highest regard and cared for them deeply. His legacy of dedication positivity and craftsmanship will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, along with the laughter and memories he created.
Visitation Thursday 4-9pm with a 7pm Rosary service at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile Rd). Funeral Friday instate 9am at St. Rene Goupil Catholic Church 35955 Ryan Rd (Btw 15 & 16 Mile Rds) until time of Mass 9:30am. Memorial contributions in Marion's honor would be appreciated by the family to the Capuchins Soup Kitchen. Share memories with the family at their "On-Line Guest Book" @ WujekCalcaterra.com.
