Marion Moore Obituary

Marion Ridenour Stottlemyer Moore passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on November 2, 2025. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose strength, honesty, and resilience defined her life and left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Marion was a wonderful mother who courageously raised three children on her own following the passing of her first husband, Robert Stottlemyer, Sr., in 1977. Her love, determination, and unwavering dedication shaped the lives of her children and set an enduring example of perseverance and compassion.

She was preceded in death by her beloved granddaughter, Heather Lantz; her parents, Clarence and Elfriede Ridenour; her sister, Gabriella Renner (survived by her husband Roland Renner); and her husband's parents, Buddy and Irene Moore, as well as his brother-in-law Trenton Jones.

Marion is survived by her husband, Joe Moore; her daughters, Stacy (Pete) Comerato, and Sherry (Jay) Schirato; and her son, Bobby Stottlemyer. She is also survived by her brother, Joseph Ridenour, and his wife Donna.

Through her marriage to Joe, Marion was blessed with a large extended family. She is also survived by his sisters and brothers: Debbie Jones; Chuck Moore; Patty Goff and husband Fred; Terry Kaas and husband Charlie; Mike Moore; Kevin Moore and wife Dina; and Cindy Kokoski and husband Ted.

Marion is also survived by her grandchildren, Bob Stottlemyer, Angel Lantz, Samantha Gladhill, Brandon Caudill, Garrett Stottlemyer, and Emily Stottlemyer; as well as four great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy. She was also loved by many nieces and nephews, too numerous to mention, who will cherish her memory.

Marion found great happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved taking mountain rides in search of wildlife and "critters," and she enjoyed keeping up with NASCAR races, favorite Bill Elliott and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys. She also took delight in relaxing with a cold beer, a sweet treat, and good company-moments that perfectly reflected her down-to-earth nature, sharp wit, and love of laughter.

Marion's life was defined by her unwavering love for her family, her remarkable strength, and her straightforward honesty. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those whose lives she so lovingly touched
