Marion Swanson Obituary
Marion Jane (Erickson) Swanson was born August 30, 1941 in Harris Minnesota. This red headed farm girl fell in love with a farm boy, Ron Swanson whom she married after finishing her nurses training on October 13, 1962. For almost 63 years they charmed others with their affectionate relationship. Marion's faith in God was very important to her, serving him faithfully behind the scenes in churches and Christian organizations. She modeled Christian motherhood to her four daughters who all followed in her footsteps. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, writing letters, visiting the homebound and serving family and friends with her gift of hospitality.
Marion and Ron were blessed by four daughters, Tammy, Penny, Jane and Ginger; four son-in-laws; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A small family service was held on Monday, September 22, 2025 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom with burial following at Hillside Cemetery in Center City.
Arrangements were under the direction and care of Grandstrand Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Branch. Condolences may be expressed online at www.grandstrandfh.com.
