Marisol Payero

In the one semester I had at KSU, Marisol stood out as one of the kindest most passionate people I have ever met. I will never forget all the time we spent talking about Sephardic Jews and language revival. Marisol's brilliant soul shines on in every person who had the honor of meeting her. Her memory is an eternal blessing.

You remind me of my younger self. You selflessly tried to help others even when going through your own battles. We have our connection to Celtic spirituality in common. It is a really hard time for our community, and you were not alone in your struggles. Thank you for everything you did to be of service to others even while going through your own challenges. You were (and always will be) a vibrant soul. Your family and friends will miss you here immensely. I´ll always remember you. May your memory be a blessing.
