Marissa Lauren Lindblad

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Marissa Lindblad on May 4th, 2025. Marissa was a vibrant, intelligent, and compassionate soul who brought light to the lives of everyone she met. Known for her generous spirit, she was always ready to help anyone in need, often reassuring them with her trademark phrase: "I got you."
Marissa had a deep love for animals and never hesitated to stop and care for them whenever the opportunity arose. Her greatest joy, however, was found in the bond she shared with her beloved niece, Jaiden, whom she helped raise with love and pride, and her constant companion, her fur baby, Cooper.
A natural athlete, Marissa had a passion for sports, especially hockey. She thrived on the ice and cherished her time playing for the Rainy River College team, where she built lasting friendships and created unforgettable memories.
Marissas passing leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her parents, Margaret and Patrick; her siblings Ryan (Brandi), Matthew (Joanna), Dean, and Krystal; her nieces Jaiden, Cameron, Sadie, and Jenna; her nephews David, Alex, and Conner; her aunts and uncles Dawn and Tony, Ann, Lori, Rocky, and Jeanie; her grandparents Penny, Barry, and Joann; and her many cousins: Lloyd III, Dylan, Zachary, Nicholas, Aidan, Rory, Hailea, Courtney, Tyler, Haley, and Michael.
Marissa will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
