Marjie and I became friend when she started eating in my restaurant. We started going on scenic drives, and walks. We shopped in Bend a few times.
She was amazing strong, confident, and highly intelligent. A dear friend.

I met her when she lived at the beach many years ago. Lovely lady, kind and soft spoken and a very accomplished artist. We kept in touch through the years . The last time we spoke her son had died and he was of great help to her. I miss her and our conversations.

So sorry to learn of Marji´s passing. She and my
Mom we´re first cousins and I grew up knowing her in Portland. I remember being her flower girl at her wedding and seeing her at many family gatherings. I visited with her after she moved to Madras. She was a gracious lady and a wonderful artist. We all miss her.

Margi was a great person who was a friend of my Mom, also a great person. I came to live with my Mom who was living alone at 100 yrs old. She called Margi regularly and always had the phone speaker on. So I got to know Margi indirectly by hearing their conversations. After my Mom died, I talked to Margi regularly and we exchanged cards and cartoons. She was a bright spirit who loved nature. I will truly miss the voice I never saw. Rest in peace Margi.
