Marjorie Bradley Coleman, born on October 23, 1947, in Syracuse, New York, passed away peacefully from natural causes on December 3, 2025, in Saluda, South Carolina, at the age of 78. A beloved matriarch and cherished friend, Marjorie leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience that will forever inspire those who knew her.

Throughout her life, Marjorie was a beacon of warmth and kindness. She had an innate talent for bringing joy to those around her, often through her passion for cooking and baking. Her kitchen was a place of culinary delight, where the scent of freshly baked bread and sweet pastries filled the air, welcoming family and friends into her home with open arms.

Marjorie's greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren, engaging in lively games of Yahtzee and Cootie, which became family favorites. Her laughter and quick wit were a constant presence, underscoring her beautiful sense of humor and the strong will that was unmatched by anyone.

A proud member of the Episcopal Church, Marjorie's faith was a cornerstone in her life, offering her strength and comfort through life's journey. She was also a high school graduate, reflecting the importance she placed on education and self-improvement.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Coleman Sr., her father, Charles C. Bradley, her mother, Doris Bradley Amidon Sanders, her brothers, Hubbard Bradley and Charles Bradley, and her sister, Ellen Depew.

She is survived by her loving children: sons Thomas Perkins and Todd Coleman, and daughter Bridgette Perkins Foster. Her brother, Jerry Bradley, and sisters Katie Regier, Amy Scarboro, and Nellie Teske also mourn her passing. Marjorie's legacy extends through her grandchildren, Jesica Walker, Christopher Perkins, Hayley Perkins, Michael Perkins, and Hannah Rickner, and her great-grandchildren, Emma Jones, Skylynn Perkins, Adalynn Perkins, and Hayden Perkins, who will continue to carry her spirit forward.

A graveside service to celebrate Marjorie's life will be held at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery in Statesville, North Carolina, where her family and friends will gather to honor her memory and the incredible impact she had on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Marjorie Bradley Coleman's life was a testament to the power of love, humor, and unwavering determination. Her light will shine brightly in the hearts of her loved ones forever.
