Marjorie LaNell Hargrove

Marjorie LaNell Hargrove, 91, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026. She was born on December 5, 1934, in Austin, Texas, to George Bryant and Maurine Lucille Teer.

Marjorie lived a life rich with creativity, love, and devotion to her family. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life-casting a line while fishing, creating intricate works through stitching and crocheting, and expressing her artistic spirit through beautiful paintings. Her kitchen was a place of warmth and gathering, where she prepared meals that brought family and friends together around the table.

Above all, Marjorie cherished time spent with her family. Her love, kindness, and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her, and her memory will be a lasting treasure to those she leaves behind.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Bryant and Maurine Lucille Teer; her beloved husband, Lloyd Hargrove; sons Lloyd Hargrove Jr. and Russel Hargrove; daughter Marcia Hargrove; and grandsons Clayton Hargrove and Russel Hargrove Jr.

Marjorie is survived by her son Richard Hargrove, as well as numerous family members and caring friends whose lives she enriched with her presence.

Her legacy of love, creativity, and family devotion will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
