Marjorie Ann Jay

On behalf of the people and staff of Christ United Methodist Church we want to extend to the whole family our condolences and prayer support. Marjorie and Charles were an important part of this congregation for many years. God bless you all in this time of loss.

We all have a favorite teacher who made us feel special and whom we all remember with fond memories......Mrs. Jay was that teacher for me. She was sophisticated and erudite, yet warm and approachable. Her obituary reveals a well-rounded and fully vested life. One cannot ask for more. My sympathies to her family..

Mrs. Jay was a special teacher for me and someone I liked very much. I wrote to her some years ago and received a lovely letter back from her. I've thought of her so often through the years.

In the loss of your Mom to Julie and Carrie. If someone had asked what the best part of her life was I think she would have said of was being your mom. May all that she was and at that she meant to you live in your life and in your heart.
