I was saddened to read of Mrs. Lamp's passing. I remember the Lamp family being such wonderful neighbors to my Grandparents, George and Margaret Nelsen when they lived on 90th Street in Omaha.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Our lives are richer for having known your mom. We have such wonderful memories from our St Paul days. May the warmth and light of God's love surround you all now and always.

We are so sorry to hear of Marjorie's passing. She was always so kind to us thru our association at St. Paul United Methodist Church. We were always made to feel very welcome when in her presence and were proud to be invited to many special occasions in her life. I know she will be missed by her many family and friends but her legacy will live on in all of us whose lives she touched.

What a wonderful woman. We celebrate her life and count her as a blessing to us all.

Marj Lamp was one of Nebraska's great ladies. She was a terrific mother, community leader and conservative Republican. We consider it an honor to have known such a wonderful person. She will be missed.

Dear Uncle Don and family, My thoughts and sympathy are with you. Aunt Marjorie was a very special person and I have many fond memories of time spent with her: family holiday gatherings at Grandma and Grandpa Lamps home; shopping for my college wardrobe with her when you lived on S. 90th; regular visits from her and Uncle Don, who stopped overnight with us in Bowling Green on their drive from Omaha to Florida-sometimes towing a boat, sometimes accompanied by friends or family. She was a special lady, always smiling, warm and gracious.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family as you honor the death of your mother. Thank you for your lovely note informing me of her passing and the opportunity to share in the family pictures. I so enjoyed especially the pictures of Atlantic and my dear friends the Knops. May God bless you at this time.

I met Mrs. Lamp at a Lamp, Rynearson & Associates' company picnic. It was hot and I was very pregnant. When she found out I was an engineer with the company she was delighted to hear the company had women engineers. She took the time to make me feel special. I am grateful to have had a chance to meet her.

My sincere condolence to Don and the family on the recent demise of Marjorie Lamp. She was a true and helpful friend when I was running for office. I am grateful for all she did to help me be successful.

My mother, Frances Beechner, lives at The Landing in the assisted living section. She always enjoyed seeing your Mother and Father there. I am Barbara Beechner Collins her daughter from Andover, Ma.. As I sit in my office and look at the picture of the Covered Bridge in Ginger Cove I am always reminded of two of our greatest life long friends. Marjorie may be gone physically but she will always be present in our hearts, prayers and memories.

I am so glad that I got to know your Mom, Grandmother, and wife. I remember her wonderfully warm and bright smile -- so happy to be surrounded by family and proud of all of their accomplishments and character. She was a great American.

Hello, Lamp cousins and Uncle Don. The thing I remember the most about Aunt Marjorie is how even the simplest lunch felt elegant, and we kids felt like we were her special guests when we came to visit all of you, in Omaha and Ginger Cove. She and Uncle Don came to Virginia once when I was a kid and took us out on the Potomac River on their boat, I think. Ginni, I remember skiing and sailing at Ginger Cove with you. Had a crush on Bill when I was about 10! My love and hugs to all of you.

Marjorie was my idol when I was a teenager, and she continued to set an example through all the years. I have been blessed to be a small part of her life. I cherish my memories.

I am saddened to hear of Aunt Marjorie's passing. I have such fond memories of visiting Don and Marge at the lake. And seeing them when they visited my mom and dad, Al and Betty.

My condolences to my cousins of whom I really don't know, but having lost my father a few years ago I empathize and sympathize with you.

Don and Marge lived a very full life, and they were always a joy to be around!
