Marjorie Ann Workman Richardson, age 62, of Duchesne, died on October 28, 2024, at the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo.
Marjorie was born on June 13, 1962, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Larry DeMar and Karla LaRene Sexton Workman. She grew up in the Kamas, Utah area where she enjoyed the outdoors. She married Lonnie Richardson, and they later divorced.
Marjorie, also lovingly referred to as Margie or Mama Margie, was known for her generosity and kindness. When people met her they immediately loved her and she touched many lives. She could also be known as a hot head, and had no problem letting you know how things really were.
Margie loved taking care of her farm animals, her gardens, and her house plants. In addition to naming her animals, she also named her plants. She liked to draw, sing with her family, and enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting. She kept a tidy home, and hung pictures of her family, friends, and beloved grandchildren on every wall.
Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Amber Richardson (Doug Fouse); son, Cody (Missie) Richardson; son-in-law, Heath Johnson; 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many others who called her grandma Margie; siblings, Vickie (Leonard) Lujan; Larry Workman (the late Lisa Workman); Sandy Richardson (the late Ernie Richardson); and Rob (Brenda) Workman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Angela Richardson Johnson; significant other, Walter Richardson; and sister, Jackie Workman.
