Marjorie Rufer

Marjorie "Margie" Rufer, of Billings, MO, passed away peacefully at her home on December 19, 2022, at the age of 89. Margie was born March 18, 1933, in Wisconsin, to Cecil and Catherine (Gavigan) Ethridge. She was one of 7 children in the home.
Margie married Roger Raymond Rufer on November 24, 1950, and this union was blessed with four children, Michelene, LeAnn, Dennis, and Gregory. Margie occasionally enjoyed going antiquing, but mostly she enjoyed her family, taking trips to Ireland with her sister and spending time with her grandchildren. She was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church for many years and was a devout Catholic.
She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister and her son Gregory.
Margie is survived by her sister Shirley Elmer of Monroe, Wics., her loving husband of 71 years, Roger, children, Michelene Sims, LeAnn Hale and Dennis Rufer, daughter-in-law Vicki Rufer, wife of Gregory. Grandchildren, Brian Stokes, Jason Edington, Michael Edington and wife Janae, Court Vinson, Lindsay Vinson, Fawn Stickler and husband Scott and Cheyenne Rufer, 13 great grandchildren and one great greatgrandchild as well as other extended family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date.
