Marjorie Grace Webster, of Kalamazoo passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the age of 98. She was born on July 26, 1926, in Kalamazoo, MI. She was the daughter. Of Ellsworth and Gladys (Cook) Machan. Her early years were spent living in Scotts, MI. She was a proud member of Scotts High School graduating class of 1944.
Following high school she married Dale Webster on July 27, 1945. Dale who passed before her after 66 years of marriage, was a military veteran that had served in the United States Marine Corp. Together, she and Dale raised four children: Ted (Barb), Roxann (Terry), and Rodney (Debby) who sadly passed before her. She remained close with her daughter: Peggy (Ray); nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and two great great grandsons.
Marjorie was a homemaker and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and gardening. She and Dale wintered in Punta Gorda, FL for several years.
Special thank you to Lisa and Tony and Jim and Stephanie for all their help. She will be sadly missed by all of us. Rest in peace, we loved you very much.
A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 1pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 12noon. She will be buried at Gilson Cemetery.
