Margie passed away in the early morning of New Year's Eve, 2025. She was 80 years old.

Margie was born to Oscar Walfred Lindholm (farrier) and Elsie May Alexander in Spearfish, South Dakota on May 10, 1944.

Oscar Lindholm was a Chief Warrant Officer in the US Army. The family of 2 boys (Larry and Wayne) and 2 girls (Margie and Myrna) were stationed in Panama in 1950, then moved to Colorado Springs. The family moved to Green Mountain Falls in 1956. The Lindholms, their children and grandchildren have been local to the Green Mountain Falls area for 70 years.

In 1960, Margie met Donald Everett White, another family of long time locals to Green Mountain Falls. The two were married in 1961.

Margie enjoyed diverse jobs, including a bit of modeling, receptionist for Pikes Peak Hill Climb, and hairdresser in Old Colorado City for 30 years.

Margie was a member of Pikes Peak Chapter of Audubon and participated in regional bird counts. She was an avid hiker and visited many National Parks in the USA and Canada. Margie traveled to 9 countries and could count in Spanish! She loved cats.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Elsie Lindholm, her brothers Larry and Wayne Lindholm. She is survived by her four sons, Dean (Denise), Dale, Doug (Michele), and Dillon (Heather); sister Myrna Wey of Green Mountain Falls; three nieces and one nephew; five grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, two great grandchildren, four step-great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Chipeta Park – a community next to Green Mountain Falls.
