Marjorie Ree Brooks Williams, 91 was born in Northampton County on June 25, 1933 to the late Napoleon Brooks and Rachel Davis Brooks departed her Earthly Life on Saturday April 26, 2025 at her home after an extended illness.

She was educated in Northhampton County and move Lexington working in various places throughout her life there last starting a Daycare Center in the project along with the help of Mrs. Gladys Arnett. She had attended New Zion Baptist Church where she sang on he Senior Choir, later moving her membership to Lexington Christian Fellowship.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Napoleon and Rachel Brooks, spouse; Thomas Williams; sons; Wendell Williams, Vermon Williams , Leo Williams, brothers; Robert, Edward, Rufus, William, Clarence and John Brooks.

She leaves memories to Reginald Williams(Sylvia) Rev. Alonzo Williams(Joyce), Furman Williams, daughters; Sharon Diane Coleman (Ted), Nakayla Alexander, grandchildren: Leroy D. Coleman, Dwayne Coleman, Alonzo Williams, Jr., Minister Tanae Williams, Tyson D. Williams, Katrina Dillard, Brenda, Racheal, Debra, Jackie Click, 28 great grandchildren, 22 great-great grandchildren, 4 great-great-great grandchildren, daughter-in-law Lettie Faye Williams, sister; Mildred Clayton, nieces, nephews , sister-in-law: Naomi Brooks, special friends ; Bertha Cowan, Angie Mitchell, a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services: Saturday May 3, at 11:00 a.m. Lexington Christian Fellowship, 803 Laurel Avenue, family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to service.
