A devoted member of her community, Marjorie's life was characterized by her unwavering kindness, compassion, and a spirit that touched the lives of many.
Marjorie grew up in Austin, where she embraced the values of family and friendship that would guide her throughout her life. She moved to Albuquerque, where she continued to exemplify the qualities of a loving and supportive individual, leaving a lasting impression on those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Her dedication to service extended beyond her personal relationships; Marjorie was actively involved in her church and numerous community initiatives, where she offered her time and talents without hesitation. Her legacy of generosity and compassion served as a beacon of hope and inspiration for many.
Marjorie's family and friends will gather to pay their respects and celebrate her remarkable life during the following services. A visitation will be held on November 17, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Strong Thorne Mortuary, located at 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. This will be followed by a funeral service at Shiloh Baptist Church, located at 608 Avenida Cesar Chavez SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102, on November 18, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM. Marjorie will then be laid to rest in a burial at Fairview Cemetery, located at 700 Yale Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106, at 12:30 PM the same day.
Marjorie Jean Williams leaves behind a legacy filled with love, warmth, and cherished memories. She will be dearly missed but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
