Marjorie Holloway Wilson passed away peacefully at home on November 6, 2025. She was 96.

Born on June 3, 1929, In Spruce Pine, North Carolina, the second child of six. She had a very happy childhood, helping her mother with household chores and raising her four younger brothers. The family eventually moved to Asheville, North Carolina.

After high school she worked as a telephone operator. She met & married her "soldier" Ray Wilson and they spent many years in the military, raising their three sons.

They eventually settled in Marietta, South Carolina, building their dream home and lived there for 52 years.

Marjorie worked as a secretary for schools and then for a mental health clinic until she retired. She was a devoted Christian and was very involved with her church and community. She was much loved by many.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Ray and two of her sons, Paul and Clifford. She is survived by her son Harold (Rock), his wife Colleen, daughter-in-law Susan, grandchildren Amy, Natalie, Patrick, Adam, and Chad, 8 great grandchildren Olivia, Tyler, Michala, Fisher, Wesley, Wyatt, Jeremy, and Austin.

Services will be at Gap Creek Baptist Church in South Carolina at a later date.
