Marjorie Crigger Wood

WOOD, Marjorie Crigger, "Bunny" 85, of Buckingham, Va., went to be with Jesus on May 30, 2024. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Donald Lewis Wood Sr.; infant daughters, Sharon Darlene, and Wanda Faye; parents, Varo, and Castine Crigger; sons-in-law, William Larry Rhoten Sr., and Roger Colby; four brothers, and three sisters. She is survived by one son, Donald Wood Jr.; seven daughters, Susan Rhoten, Patricia Hamilton (Ernie), Laura Moubray (Irvin), Donna Evans, Margie Colby, Linda Owens and Karen Short (Steve); 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren, and many other loving family and friends. She joined the Manchester Women of the Moose in 1984 and proudly served in multiple roles. In 1989 she was Chaplin, in 1992 she was Jr. Regent, in 1993 she was Sr. Regent, and in 1994 she earned her degree from the College of Regents. For many years she worked alongside her husband establishing a successful business "Corn Cribb Engraving" in Buckingham County.

Viewing and funeral ceremony will be held at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull

Street Rd. Family will receive guest Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 6 until 8 p.m. Ceremonial service will commence Wednesday June 5, 2024 at 11 a.m. followed by services at the Virginia Verterans Cemetary. Family will hold a reception following services at Grace Harvest Bible Church.
