Mark Steven Adams

Mark Steven Adams, affectionately called "Bennie Marco" was born December 4, 1956, in New Orleans to Dolores Desvigne Adams Summers of NOLA and the late Raymond Floyd Adams of Wallace, LA. He transitioned at home, January 1, 2025, at age 68. Mark attended St. Raymond, Jones, Capdau, and John McDonogh. He studied accounting at SUNO and worked in the chemical industry and as a building contractor. He was an integral part of the #1 nightclub in NOLA in the eighties, Bundini's and produced music and t-shirts. He established the Family Derby fostering togetherness and strength among family and community. He supported families victimized by Covid across the world. Mark continued his worldwide outreach by compassionately sending scriptures and prayers to over 1000 people Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, his last being Friday, December 27, 2024. Preceded in death by his father, Raymond Adams, stepfather, Malcolm Summers, his brother, Daryl Summers and sister, Monique Summers Mansion Gilyot. He is survived by his mother, Dolores Desvigne Adams Summers, brothers; David and Trent Summers, daughter; LaKeitsha Rouege, grandson; Taron Rouege, Sr. (Angel), great grandchildren; Ta'Rielle Rouege, Taron Rouege, Jr. and Amariah Dixon, aunt; Sandra Adams Sylvain (Warner) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 11, 2025, for 11:00 a.m. at St. Raymond/St. Leo Catholic Church, 2916 Paris Ave., New Orleans, LA 70119.
