Mark Bain Obituary
Visitation for Mark Bain, age 65, of Sulphur Springs, will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. A private family burial will take place at Rockdale Cemetery with Sam Doom, Bo Dyer, Aaron Dyer, Kenny Hayes, and Richard Landreth serving as Honorary Pallbearers and Rev. Paul Ray Vititow officiating. Mr. Bain passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Christus Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler.
Mark Bain was born to William Jack and Ruby Jean (Owens) Bain on July 12, 1959, in Harlingen, Texas. After completing high school, Mark went on to work as a truck driver and a production manager for A.P. Green. He was a member of the Cedar Crest Christian Church.
Mark is survived by his daughter, Melissa Doom (Sam); son, Brian Bain; grandchild, Hazel Doom; brothers, Mike Bain (Cindy), and Clint Bain (Danna); uncle and aunt, Jimmy and Wanda Winfrey; nieces and nephews, Kristi Hayes (Kenny), Bo Dyer (Madison Ward), Aaron Dyer (Randee); and extended family, Kim Moore, Bill Lile and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Ruby Bain, and nephew, Brody Dyer.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Rockdale Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 2002, Sulphur Springs, Texas 75483.
