Mark Barasch Obituary

Born in Brooklyn, NY, and longtime resident of Middle Village, Queens, Mark Barasch passed away surrounded by the love of his family.
A proud Vietnam veteran, Mark honorably served his country overseas. He was a selfless caring man who always put others before himself - a loyal friend, a devoted husband and father, and someone who would do anything to help those in need.
Mark loved life's excitement - especially the racetrack, where he enjoyed the thrill of the action, and his passion for sports never wavered. He was a man of integrity, humor, and heart, whose presence filled every room.
He is survived by his loving wife, Laura; his son, Robert; his daughter, Paulina; and his three beautiful grandchildren, Grayson, Robbie, and Samantha. Mark will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
We'll be watching and waiting for those signs from above - hoping he's still sending us his winners.
Visitation will be held at Roslyn Heights Funeral Home on Sunday from 10-2PM.
