Mark, known to many as Philly, was a rare soul-one of those people whose heart could light up even the darkest of days. He was kind-hearted, fiercely loving, endlessly supportive, and filled with an energy that could fill a room. From the very first day we met, he embraced me as his "little brother," and that bond became one of the most meaningful connections in my life. God knows how much I´m missing him right now.
I only learned of his passing this morning, and the weight of that news feels unbearable. But as I sit here and reflect on the moments we shared, what stands out is the joy he found in life, especially in the music that spoke to his soul. He had a deep love for old-school tunes, with Gerald Levert holding a special place in his heart. That love for music was a part of who he was-genuine, soulful, and timeless.
Philly wasn´t just like a big brother to me; he was my big brother in every sense that mattered. His love, his guidance, and his unwavering support will stay with me always. I carry him in my heart, and I know I´ll see him again someday. Until that day comes, I´ll hold onto the memories, the music, and the bond we shared.
Rest easy, Philly. Love you always.
Your little brother,
Storm.
