Mark Warren Chase, age 81, of San Antonio, Texas, transitioned from this life on September 27, 2025. A Celebration of his life will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025 at the Mission Park Funeral Chapels Medical Center where the family will greet friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Mr. Mark Chase was born in Schenectady, NY to the late Isaac Warren Chase and Anna Regula Chase. He was preceded in death by his wife of 26 years, Diana DiPalma Chase and a son, Jeremy Warren Chase. Mark lived most of his life in Rochester and Mendon, NY. He spent some time in Weston, CT as well as Sacramento and Eureka, CA before making his home in San Antonio, TX. He was a salesman by trade and worked for Dupont for many years as well as various entrepreneurial ventures in the printing industry before retiring. Mark was known as someone with a generous spirit, steady heart, and unwavering belief in the importance of family. In his free time, he enjoyed reading, cooking and socializing with friends and neighbors. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He is survived by his son, Christian Gabriel (Meredith Walker) Chase, of Asheville, NC; grandchildren, Claire Nicole Chase and Gabriel Walker Chase, brother in-law, Steve (Annette) DiPalma, and nephew, Eric DiPalma. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
