I am so sad and shocked to hear of his passing. Mark was a quiet professional who always wanted to be better. He was just a great all around guy and it was so easy to be around him. Rest easy, brother.

My fist memory of Mark was the Motor Pool Monday antics at Ft. Campbell and the great sense of humor he had, he´d give it back to you or physically restrain you depending on his mood. I always teased him about getting his arms checked out due to the severe swelling he had. Great guy and fun times. I´ll miss him for sure.

Mark was my first gym partner back in Fort Campbell. Always seen him in the gym killing and one day I went up and asked if he wanted to start lifting together. We hit it off after that. Very cool dude. My deepest condolences to his family. Rest in peace bro.

Very shocking news!! I remember working out the Cheathem in the gym and I could never keep up with him. We would always laugh but he motivated me to keep pushing. He really did take his fitness serious. Cheathem family I am so sorry for your loss..

I remember doing PT and having a push-up competition. I can't remember what the prize was but this man did like 15 push-ups then went into "muscle failure" HAHA he said it would mess with his workout routine later

I always joked with him about always taking his top off to do anything. Any chance I got that top came off. Teach a class "top off", sweep a floor "top off" Outside talking "top off". I will deeply miss him
