Mark Crank Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center & Confluence Center on Dec. 18, 2025.
Mark Allen Crank, of O'Fallon, Missouri, passed away on December 15, 2025, at the young age of 68. He was the beloved husband of Karen Kelly and the cherished son of the late Edward and Esther Crank. Mark was a devoted father to Bradley Crank, Samantha (Justin) Rumpsa, Holly (Joseph Tally) Crank, Christine McMasters, and Jessica (Alex) Bolen. A loving "Papaw," he found his greatest joy in his grandchildren Jack, August, Cooper, Rosie, Fitzgerald, Camryn, Calum, Elise, and Ella.
Mark is also lovingly remembered by his sisters Mary Jean (the late Ron) Howard and Patricia (Bruce) Haverporth. He was preceded in death by his sister Donna (George) Dear and his brother Jimmy Crank. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Mark possessed a youthful exuberance for life that few could match. For 45 years, he proudly owned and operated Marcos Productions, bringing joy and laughter to countless events through his extraordinary talents as a juggler, fire eater, stilt walker, and hypnotist. His boundless energy, creativity, and passion for entertaining left lasting impressions on audiences of all ages.
Deeply committed to serving others, Mark generously volunteered with numerous charitable organizations throughout the years, including Special Olympics, Friends of Kids with Cancer, Old Newsboys Day, and many others. He was a longtime member of the O'Fallon Chamber of Commerce, where he served as Chairman of the Board in 2016 and was honored as Person of the Year in 2011.
Above all else, Mark loved his family and his forever partner in crime, Karen. He cherished laughter, St. Louis sports, a good bourbon, and time spent with those he loved most. His warmth, humor, and larger-than-life spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Mark's honor to Siteman Cancer Center.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22nd from 4-8pm and the Memorial Service on Tuesday, December 23rd at 10:30am- both at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center.
