Mark C. Daniels, age 66, of Frazee, MN, died Thursday, February 13th at Frazee Care Center. Mark was born at St. John’s hospital in Fargo, ND on March 16th, 1958, to Roland and Lillian (Cullen) Daniels. He was baptized at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Moorhead. Due to Roland's career as an electrician, the family moved frequently. Mark attended 13 different schools throughout his childhood, but always considered Detroit Lakes, MN to be his home. He enjoyed many years at the family cabin on Lake Lizzie. Mark graduated from Moorhead High School in 1976.

Mark was married in 1977 at Zion Lutheran Church in Pelican Rapids, MN. He had 2 daughters, Katie in 1978 and Stacy in 1984. Mark worked for L&L Electric, Ramada Inn in Moorhead, The Fargo Forum, and Jemco Electric. He retired in 1997 due to his diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. Mark loved to be at the lake and greatly enjoyed boating, water skiing, tubing, knee boarding and fishing. He was enthusiastic about all things electronic and operating his Ham Radio. Computers and the internet were very important to him. Mark was involved with EVAC in the 80s, assisting as the Secretary/Treasurer. He was passionate about serving his community by storm spotting, helping with traffic control for concerts and events, along with other service projects. Mark lived at Eventide in Moorhead and Frazee Care Center in his final years. He kept a positive attitude despite his illness. He loved to crack jokes and deeply enjoyed visiting with others. He was a classic rock guy at heart and loved watching old TV shows to pass the time. The Munsters, Star Trek, and the Beverly Hillbillies were a few of his favorites.

Mark is survived by his sister, Barbara, Fargo, ND; daughters, Katie, Woodbury, MN, Stacy (Kenneth), Fargo, ND; grandsons, Mason & Anders, Woodbury, MN; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews. Mark is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Lee.

Mark’s family would like to thank the staff of Frazee Care Center and Hospice of the Red River Valley for their exceptional care.
