My family and I are so sad to hear of Mark's sudden passing. I had the honor of knowing Mark for 20+ years, while working at Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC). He was always a friendly and supportive member of the RNDC team. He treated everyone like family. He will be missed by all.

A picnic on BAMM Island can't be forgot

The barbeques were really great - you were the Chef, there's no debate
A campfire on the beach is where, we sat and talked, we loved to share
At Gasparilla we would have a blast
Remember things of days gone past
So with a heart that is full of sadness
You will be remembered Mark, with joy and gladness.

I had the privilege of growing up in the Grace Lutheran family with Mark and Melinda, their families and ours were always very close. Anytime Mark and Melinda were in the room you were in the presence of friends!

Mark had all the best attributes; Smart, funny, kind, generous, hardworking (emphasis added) and loving. Most of all, he was the best person anyone could call friend.

Mark was a good Christian man, and was always there for his friends and co-workers.

Mark, Melinda and I became fast friends in the late 60's. Always hardworking, he stocked shelves at Grand Union in high school, and purchased that little red BUG.

Mark, Melinda and I and a bunch of others crammed into the VW for weekends filled with fun adventures to the beach, football, camping retreats, and other teen stuff. We had a b-l-a-s-t!

We were all witnesses Mark and Melinda's remarkable love story; they met as kids, were the best of friends, and married over 35 years ago in the church where they grew up.

God seems to take the best of us early. So, until I see you again, my dear friend, I will carry you in my heart.
