Mark Donohue Obituary

A retired USMC veteran who served his country with honor during the Vietnam War, passed away on November 19, 2025, in Alexandria, VA. He was born on September 15, 1940, to Mark I. and Clare D. Donohue in Philadelphia, PA. Mark leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory.

He is survived by his sons: Mark D. Donohue, Michael C. Donohue (Peggy), and Matthew J. Donohue (Cheryl). His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Bailey Hilton (Joey), Morgan Wright, Laura Zwileneff (Christian), and Joey Donohue, as well as his great-grandchildren: Landyn Hilton, Jaxyn Hilton, Raelynn Morris, Brielle Zwileneff, and Malina Zwileneff. He is also remembered by his siblings: Claire Ciallella, Robert Donohue, Margaret Burke, & Veronica Chappell.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Ann Donohue, his parents and his sister Maryanne Kornmeyer. Visit the funeral home website for service information.
