We enjoyed having Mark as a visiting nurse. He was so intelligent, kind, and caring. He worked his magic with honey bandages. He was so amazing. We are so sorry he is gone and his healing hands. We all shared the love of history and clan knowledge and had great conversations.

Baby I miss you every day. Not a minute goes by when I don't think of you. Our home is so quiet now. I know we will be united one day.

Dad was something special. Over the course of my life I've met many friends who help shaped who I am. Though that foundation, my core values. That came from dad. His compassion, his empathy, I'm going to take that with me through the rest of my life. He truly left the world a better place then we he entered and really that's how everyone should live there life. Leave the world better. That's what I'm going to do in my own way. I'll miss you dad.

I have known Mark for about 49 years we work together at Amelia Island Plantation when it was the only thing at the south end of the island, we also work together at the volunteer fire and rescue and we were part of the fantastic for Rescue 22 chief Dave Harris, Steve, Taylor, Mark, and myself. Truly, a very special friend. I will miss him very much.

Worked with him in homecare - he was a wonderful nurse and well-loved. Then we figured out that we were both 1) Pirates and 2) he was married to my classmate!! Sending much love and prayers to you, Nancy and the family

Mark had a huge impact on his community, The whole time I knew him he was involved in helping others in some capacity, Either through his medical career or the local rescue, Mark could be counted on to make things better for someone else, So missed.

I first met Mark about 35+ years ago when he was president of our Scottish group, The St. Andrew´s Society of Jax. Each year he and Nancy would bring an RV to our Highland Games and we would get together , visit and have a wee dram. We attended Ceileidhs, Burn´s Night dinners and always celebrated together. I loved his Southern drawl, his genteel demeanor, his love and zest for ;life and his devotion to his family and friends. His sense of humor was always just under the surface of every conversation and would pop out when you least expected it. Rest easy, my sweet friend. See you again one day.

Mark was a friend and I loved his beard and smile. He could make you laugh and would always lend a hand when needed. He will be missed.
