Mark Edward Ossmann Obituary
Mr. Mark Edwards “Yankie” Ossman, age 64, entered into rest on Friday, December 12, 2025 at his home. A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 by Pastor Timmothy Mobley in the chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Ossmann was born November 11, 1961 in Trinton, NJ a son of Freda Ossman and the late Gene Ossmann. Mr. Ossmann was a U.S. Navy veteran who, following his service, worked as a farrier and later in construction. Mark enjoyed being out doors hunting and fishing. Mr. Ossman was a people person who loved spending time with his friends and loved ones. Mark also loved animals, especially his beloved dog, “Buddy”.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Betty Ossman of the home; mother, Freda Ossman of Whiting, NJ; sons, Nathan (Katie) Hollifield of Pageland, SC; Ryan Ossmann of Marshville, NC; 3 grandchildren; siblings, Jennie (Jim) Barbour, Fred Ossmann; numerous nieces and nephews; and brother of the heart, Kenny Taylor of Mt. Croghan, SC.
