EGGER, MARK, 71, of
Andover, KS passed away on April 7, 2026.
He was born on September 5, 1954, in
Inglewood, CAMark was a devoted family man, known for his adventurous spirit, strong work ethic, and unforgettable sense of humor. He was hardworking and determined, yet brought joy and laughter to those around him with his wit and personality.
He began his career working for Expanded Rubber and Plastics in California and later moved to Kansas, where he worked for Hiller Inc. as a Quality Assurance Manager. He took pride in his work and the life he built for his family.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Pam Egger; his daughter, Caitlyn Craig, and her husband, Chase Craig; and their son, Cason Craig. He is also survived by his son, Chris Egger, and his wife, Amanda Egger; and their daughter, Charlotte Egger. He is further survived by his three sisters, Cindy Davis (Dave), Kathryn Warren (Kirk), and Toni Tippit (Tim)
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Egger, and his mother, Jane Munson.
Mark had a deep love for life's simple and meaningful moments. He loved all types of fishing-whether deep sea adventures or quiet afternoons at the neighborhood pond. He had a passion for airplanes and never missed an opportunity to attend an air show. He also enjoyed antique shopping, especially when adding to his treasured German stein collection.
He was an incredible animal lover, never hesitating to show affection to any animal he met. Above all, Mark's greatest joy was his family. He never missed a game, a school program, or an important milestone. He made sure his wife always felt cherished, never missing a birthday without flowers and a handwritten card waiting for her on the table each year.
Mark was a proud and loving Pepaw to his grandchildren, Charlie and Cason, whom he often called the light of his world. His children always knew how proud he was of them, as he never missed a chance to tell them.
Above all else, Pam was the love of his life, and not a day went by that he didn't remind her how much he loved her.
He will forever be remembered as a devoted husband, proud father, and the best Pepaw.
